MDWF 2020 - Prenatal Care II: Prenatal Care for a Healthy Pregnancy: Focused on the basics of prenatal care: from establishing initial contact, taking thorough client history, initiating ongoing prenatal care, evaluating pregnant person and the fetus, addressing common discomforts and physiological changes of pregnancy, and recognizing when referral is indicated. Created multiple practice guidelines and care plans. Learned strategies for fostering our client’s wellbeing and resilience through a focus on emotional health, psychosocial care, cultural humility, and structural competency (MCU, 2021).

CLNC 2030 - Phase Two Competencies: Assisted local preceptor with some prenatals, labors and births, postpartum visits, and newborn care duties. Reflected on these experiences, linking knowledge or skills acquired in assistant experiences with knowledge acquired in phase two of study, including current research in the field. Completed required clinical hours for this term. Updated e-portfolio, adding some additional client resources to my website.
